The people at Kajabi are at it again, there taking a great product and making it better still.
Here’s what they been up to sense the launch.
They realized people learn in different ways. while some learn by reading a book; others do better watching videos. then there’s the ones that learn by just doing it. They know Info Products these days need to touch upon all learning styles. It just doesn’t work use one means on learning. you need to have text, audio, video and live interaction–you need everything. to create a great learning experience for the client.
for that reason the best Info Products no longer cater to one type of learning, they cater to all types of learning. And that’s where Kajabi comes into play.
With Kajabi, you can create a private website that is well organized around your content (most refer to this as a “Membership Site” or “Membership Portal”). using Kajabi you can post your videos, eBook files, audio files and topics for your users to interact with. You can take your info products and integrate it with a social layer of interaction.
The Kajabi folks know that, Info Products are becoming Interactive Learning Environments (or, “ILE’s”). Brian Clark of CopyBlogger teaches that. One shouldn’t sell products; instead, one should sell access. Kajabi makes it easy to do just that.
As you can see it fit rather nice in the picture along with the “Product Launch Formula.”
This is final element that Info Marketing centers around marketing your product. There are a variety of ways to use Kajabi to market your product. But for now, we’ll cover the most popular method for promoting your product, which is the “Product Launch Formula.”
The Product Launch Formula was coined by Jeff Walker (who also happens to use Kajabi).
The Product Launch Formula involves the process of doing three things over a few of days:
- Capturing leads via a Squeeze Page
- Teaching the leads about your product through a series of events (Which we call, “Event Posts“)
- Converting the leads into customers through a Sales Page
During the product launch, your typically going to see the product going “on sale” for just a few days due with a limited number of seats. Doing this create a sense of scarcity and helps to increase one’s conversion rates.
After the sale is made, the user receives access to the Kajabi Interactive Learning Environment that you learned about previously.
Bottom line is, Info Marketing centers are built around the three elements above: #1 researching a market, #2 creating a product (hopefully an interactive one with Kajabi), and #3 marketing the product (using Product Launch Formula). Kajabi’s focus is on #2 and #3; it’s still up to you to research and choose your market, Kajabi can help take over the rest of the work, that it takes to get you through your project.
Here are 3 new and cool things that relate to Kajabi:
1. Product Update
They’ve added some new squeeze page templates and made some minor bug fixes. They also added the ability to customize the language within the opt-in form on the squeeze pages.
2. New Blog Post That We Think You’ll Really Like
Check out our latest post, “The 3-Part Landing Page Formula That Always Works” at the Kajabi Flight Lounge.
3. New! Vote and Share Your Thoughts at
You may noticed the “feedback tab” on the left-hand side when you login to Kajabi. They launched a new community.
There a test they ran
For a past week we’ve run a very simple test on our sales page. The test centered exlusively on the green “Call to Action” button.
The test did not involve changing the style or color of the button; instead, the only variable that changed was the language used on the button.
And if that’s not enough take a look at some other changes in Kajabi
“Cart Open Mode” setting to funnels
You now have the option to leave your funnel events available after you open your cart. When this is set and the cart is open, funnel events work like normal and do not redirect to the sales page, and instead, the sales page is available in the navigation of the funnel.
Added a “placeholder” option to funnel events
Previously, any time you had a funnel event which was not published, Kajabi would display “Coming Soon” in the funnel navigation for that event. Now, you can indicate if you would like this placeholder shown or not, and you can even customize the text to whatever you want!
Enhanced the “join date” functionality
Now admins can edit the join date for a customer. This is extremely helpful when dealing with evergreen content.
Enhanced the Free Signup and Bulk User Import
They’ve enhanced the Free Signup and Bulk User Import areas to allow users to be created who were previously in the system as opt-in or temporary users
Squeeze Page Cleanup
They have cleaned up the look of the timed and tease squeeze popup window so the border looks a lot better in all browsers.
Fixed Custom Shopping Cart Bug
Fixed bug which prevented some users from being able to cancel user accounts via the Custom Shopping Cart Provider
K2 Theme Cleanup
Made various look and feel improvements to the K2 theme. Specifically, the header height matches between the portal and the funnel layouts so logo images will look consistent between the two.
They added several new thumbnail options for the funnel events
